Having been spoiled on Wednesday last- the weather took its revenge. Not too bad, but a wee drizzle now & again, to ensure we viewed the last run with rose tinted specs.
Milton was the set off point, & given that Rex wasn’t with us to complain of distance, we diverted by the military road, via Arrochar to our usual Coffee stop at Tarbet. As usual friendly welcome & very good value.
Thereafter via Crianlarich to Killin to see the spectacular waterfalls following on the heavy rains post Xmas. Grumpy took some fab fotos, as you can see.
JT’s bike contracted ABS warning failure from JPG’s old hack & in doing so, cured the latter. Anti- virus required . Probably too much maintenance JT. If it works- don’t fix it.
Then back via Kilmahog, Trossachs & Duke’s pass again, this time to Gartmore & Liz MacGregor’s Black Bull Hotel for lunch
She really does spoil us- fantastic 2 course lunch with loads of choice, Coffee & home made shortbread- all for £10. We felt we had to give her extra. Quite right.
Then home by various routes.
