Terrific Tarbert Sunday 7th July 2019

You lot- you certainly missed one of if not the best Sunday run we ever had. Certain anonymous parties did not arrive- isn’t that right Les- but in the end 5 of us had a whale of a day; we’re still smiling over it.

Setting off from Milton, our usual fix in Tarbet & then via remarkably empty roads through Inveraray & then rubbing in the new tyres to Lochgilphead and then to Tarbert.

This was the second day of their annual festival, as advised by Eoghainn, who joined us there with his new (second hand) acquisition. A lovely Triumph, so it is.

A lively & lovely view of all the activities there & after a reasonable lunch, we decided to take the 2 ferries to the Mainland.

The first from Tarbert to Portavadie followed by a great run to Sheila’s Cafe near Dunoon. The road surfaces were particularly good all the way- magic.

So Sheila’s did not disappoint & as we got on the ferry waiting for us- everything fell into place, time-wise.

We went our separate ways in Gourock,

We can call the Run a RESULT
