St Valentines Run 17th March

John T in charge. A great turnout for February.

We gathered at the football pitches in Paisley traveling to Barhead  Neilston, Kingston to Stewarton, Fenwick, Galston Road Junction passing through Waterside, Moscow in to Galston towards Dundonald heading for Gailes Lodge for lunch

Great lunch there, but dodgy accounting by the untrained Staff. Did everyone pay their full whack??? .

After lunch we traveled to Irvine, Dreghorn, Springside,  Crosshouse to Kilmaurs, Stewarton, Dunlop and Lugton where we stopped for a blether before departing on our different ways home

The weather was absolutely perfect, & a well sorted out run, thanks, John.

Grumpy’s foto attached, however, those discerning enough of us may notice the odd replacements & perhaps a disapearance! (A white Honda, me thinks!)

The same Grumpy may have added a bit of false background to make us look less unattractive.

Visit by HMS Gannet

Nick Walker- Pilot gave us a splendid presentation. Our Members are ferocious in their interrogation of the Military. Poor guy- but the boy dun good.

We would have been there till the morning if the Chairman hadn’t felt sorry for the lad who needed to go to bed, by putting a stop to the proceedings.

We are, as we speak, enquiring about a visit to Gannet at Prestwick, and will incorporate this with one of our fabulous runs in Ayrshire- Dunure sounds grand- heh?

Thanks Nick- it was great meeting you, Keep safe.
