So a nucleus of five met at Milton (3 last minutes call-offs notwithstanding) and off to Tarbert for a heat up & met Ronnie fae Dunoon & 2 of his cronies.
The scenery was stunning, especially along The Loch. No wind & reflections of the hills & mountains on the waters.
The George was up to scratch, especially marine life and constant chatter, interrupted by moaning Grumpy most of the time. Wrong side of bed, we suspect.
Returned by Loch Lomond with Willie setting a brisk pace (the way we like it). Traffic was OK and moving well, so no hassle. Needed to get home shortly after 3pm as Winter well established. A bonus day out- hopefully more such surprises.
